I purchased this rifle from a local gentleman in 2017. It has not been fired since I have owned it. It has the JM roll mark everyone seems to be looking for, as well as being chambered in .357! It is not perfect, was not a safe queen, and has been used. That being said, it is very nice.
Several photos are attached to illustrate the rifle’s condition. If you need additional information, please do not hesitate to ask.
Feeding and function are excellent; I just cycled it with 158gr XTP’s and 135gr FTX’s, both by Hornady. No issues.
The previous owned had installed a leather wrap on the lever which is still in place.
While this rifle is being sold as-is, I would be willing to modify/build it into a custom project if you desire. Please let me know if you are interested and we can discuss your options. I will do my best to work a discount into the deal.
This rifle will be shipped to your FFL in an inexpensive hard case, inside of a cardboard sleeve. Since Marlin stocks have a habit of breaking at the wrist in-transit, this will hopefully prevent that. It will also be insured for full value. The cost will be approximately $100 depending on your location.
Payment methods accepted are personal check, money order, Cashier’s check, cash, etc. (Credit card if Grizzly rifle.) Since this is a personal firearm I will not be able to accept credit/debit cards for the transaction. I will give the buyer a 3-day, non-firing inspection period. Buyer pays return shipping, packed as received, insured for full value.
I will wait two weeks before publishing this ad in the For Sale section of the web page, or until offering it to the general public.
Please do not hesitate to holler if you have questions, or require additional information.
